S6: We Can Stop Counts from Fleeing Responsibility

We can stop Counts from fleeing responsibility for their debts to America. Unlike Contributing Americans, Counts can easily afford to take America’s Public Gains and leave the country at the first sign of changes they don’t like. But we don’t have to let that happen. And we’re not helpless to stop them. Americans can make sure that Counts stay accountable to America.

Americans can say, “Enough!” to the out-of-control, extreme Money Counts of elite, entitled Counts. Contributing Americans can renew the promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, free from the corruption of extreme money, as we:

1

Treat Counts as flight risks. Counts are quick to threaten to go AWOL on America. They prepare so-called “migration options” to leave America and evade taxes and accountability. Americans can treat Counts as serious flight risks, and put in place the law enforcement tools to make sure they can’t flee responsibility.

2

Set clear consequences. When Counts do flee responsibility and funnel extreme money abroad, we can set clear consequences. We can restrict or revoke American privileges like travel visas, ownership of certain kinds of assets, use of specific technologies, or access to elite schools. We don’t have to let Counts flee with impunity.

3

Work with world neighbors. The Counting Class is a growing threat to countries around the world. As a nation, we can ally ourselves with world neighbors to coordinate enforcement of taxes and regulations on extreme money. We can use the power of alliances to put pressure on any countries that harbor or shelter Counts.
